Delivering groups effectively requires an understanding of dynamics and the profound effect this environment can have on sustained recovery.This one-day training is designed for volunteers and practitioners with no previous experience of delivering therapeutic groups. The course equips delegates the basic skills required to facilitate therapeutic, psycho-educational and recovery orientated group interventions.

On the basic group work skills course I learnt a lot about what makes a group work well and how I can deliver one using my own strength. I will definitely be signing up for intermediate training.
